When we are sick...

Have you ever noticed that when a child is sick, that's when they get the most attention from their parents?

I remember when I was younger I used to get sick a lot in the winter because of the cold weather and my mother and father would always be with me...trying to make me feel better, giving me medicine, and just simply being their for me. That doesn't mean that they weren't there for me when I wasn't sick, but it meant that I only noticed when I was sick.

With God, our heavenly Father it's not any different. This past week I wasn't feeling very well physically, emotionally and spiritually. I kept stating to myself that the Lord's word says:

II Corinthians 12:9 " But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."

I tried to be Strong but on my own I couldn't. I kept calling out to the Lord for strength, health, and forgiveness. Throughout this week God showed me once more how he never let me go, and he never will. He showed to me once more that the weaker I feel, the stronger he will make me in Him.
