What do you do?

“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11: 27-30 (NIV)

Life is not easy. And it seems that the older you get the more responsibility and troubles come with it. There are a lot of small and big decisions that we need to make daily. Most of them we don't even think to answer, but some are just too complicated to answer.

What do you do when you ask for forgiveness and the person not only doesn't forgive you, but he/she throws it all back at you and makes you feel worse than you already were?

What do you do when you love a person so much and you try to make he/she happy and satisfied at all times, but that person never looks at your end of the story and kills you with words?

What do you do when you have loved ones so far away, and there's nothing you can do about it?

What do you do when you have a loved one that decides to move to a different part of the world, and you don't know when you'll get to see them again?

What do you do when work is so stressful and frustrating? Your boss throws it all on you and you try your best but still is not compensated for it?

What we do is go to Jesus. Lay it all on him. We find rest in Him. Give Him our frustrations, our sadness, our loneliness, our hearts, our emotions, and trust that He will guide us through each situation. We are His children and only He knows whats best for us. Plus He looks at our situation from a different point of view, and knows how to get out of it safely.
